Scoop.It is a website as described by many others, “it is half content curation tool and half social network, linking you with others who may share similar interests.
Through Scoop.It you may create boards of curated content based on topics of your personal interest and allowing you to share your thoughts/comments. I have been using this site for at least a year. So far, it has been very useful. I have read articles from education, technology, STEM education, Social and Emotional Learning, Project Based Learning, including parent involvement.
Other resources that I have come across, include apps as well as educational websites.

In addition, you may connect your other social networks to easily share your scoops. By connecting to your social networks, you will build your community. Of course, this is optional.
Similarly to ther sites, additional features (everything from Scoop scheduling to team curation to newsletter publishing) are available through paid upgrades.

How does Scoop.It work?·
- Creat an account
- Set your settings
- Select your topics, which will become the “boards” of curated content (similar to Pinterest)
- Name each board (by creating a name for your topic and add some related keywords will allow Scoop.it to curate content for you).
Three different ways to add content to your boards:
- Suggestions provided by Scoop.it
- By re-scooping content from others
- Directly scooping a link by entering its URL
